Daddy Freeze, Giving of Firstfruit Offering is NOT Foolishness

How does one person just decide all of a sudden to turn around the truths we have known, experienced and benefited from through the years? First, it was tithe, now it is about first fruit. My heart goes out to anyone who might have experienced some sort of ‘extortion’ from so called men of God, this however does not extinct the truth that lies in the principles of scriptures that have worked over time and still does work. I make bold to say, that if you have given a first fruit offering to your pastor or spiritual mentor before and nothing remarkable has happened, you need to do a thorough search because the principles of God always come with proofs. Thank God we don’t request for first fruit offerings on our blog, but we partake in the principle and have seen the miraculous take place. Hence, we have an experiential right to discuss this matter.
I met someone in 2016 and she was sharing her first fruit offering testimony. She had just gotten a job that year having stayed home for some time. At the end of her first month, she dropped her offering without knowing how she would survive through the next month. She experienced a shift in her finances and favour in her career. She got a new job and favour before her bosses. If you still doubt it, you need to have listened to the Nkechi’s testimony at SHILOH 2017.
The good thing about this thing is, giving to God is solely YOUR CHOICE. What you give, you receive. What you hold back, you struggle to keep. Even God said HE LOVES A CHEERFUL GIVER. I believe there are two kinds of giving, cheerful giving and sacrificial giving. While cheerful giving might come from a place of convenience, sacrificial giving is you challenging God to the plate with the ‘almost-nothing’ that you have.
So, even after you read this piece and you still don’t feel like giving, there really is no issue -well, except you want to challenge God or yourself – which would even be better. If you have an issue with giving a man of God, ask questions, do a scriptural research and listen to your inner voice. There are so many voices speaking today that if you don’t make up your mind from a place of conviction or challenge to God, you’ll miss the point, and miss the blessing.
It is true there are many false prophets, the Bible has told us before now so it is not a headliner to show off. The real question here is ‘what are you looking for up and down that they are extorting you’. You need to grow from the mentality of ‘hearing from a prophet’ so teeeey den go swipe you…
Please, this year, do yourself a favour and KNOW God by yourself. It would save you the stress of being cheated or even swayed by social media drama. God owes no man. If you give, he says your barn will be full and your vats will increase! The decision is still yours. I sincerely honour the place of a prophet but I also strongly contest that every man should have a personal relationship with God, such that the Holy Spirit helps them to sieve through conversations and people.
Now let’s get to the nitty-gritty – what is it about firstfruit offerings?
The nonspiritual but highly intellectual Wikipedia explains First Fruits to be a religious offering of the first agricultural produce of the harvest given to priests to offer a deity. First Fruits were often a primary source of income to maintain the religious leaders and the facility.
NOW, Scripturally speaking, these books of the bible say more about this principle:

Proverbs 3:9 says Honor the Lord with thy substance, and with the FIRSTFRUITS of all thine increase: Verse 10 says So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

Rom.11:16 says for if the FIRSTFRUITS be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

Leviticus 23:10 says “When you come into the land which I give you and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest,” Leviticus 23:10. It is to be set apart as holy unto God!

In the Books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, Moses stated the significance of FIRSTFRUIT OFFERING, in not less than thirteen (13) occasions. In the Old Testament, God instructed Moses to expose the secret of overwhelming blessings to His chosen Nation of Israel. Moses obeyed God by stating the conditions precedent to man enjoying God’s overwhelming blessings. That is, the secret to receiving overwhelming blessings from God is to present your firstfruit to Him through His servants.

The problem people are giving you by what they say is when they start questioning you. Some say, ‘why are you giving men of God?, It is a SCAM.’ Hellooooo, if your Pastor did not scam you throughout the year with prayers, prophesies and declarations, it is now when you want to bless God through his life that it becomes a scam. Just because it has to do with money. Be Wise! have you ever thought that if it were to be the other way round – say, Pastors are meant to give their members firstfruits offering, nobody will be complaining. Nobody will do a live YouTube video saying that pastors are being scammed by their members. Wake Up to your deliverance people!

Exodus 23:19 stipulates strict obedience to giving of FIRSTFRUIT OFFERING. He repeated this again in Exodus 34:26. To remove any ambiguity on the significance of FIRSTFRUIT, God expressly instructed Moses again in Leviticus 23:10 that the euphoria of victory and celebration of wonderful accomplishment must not be allowed to obliterate compliance with His instruction on FIRSTFRUIT OFFERING.

I used to be confused about this whole firstfruit thing until I myself paid it. I got the biggest miracle ever.

All Firsts belong to God. When you honor this principle it provides the foundation and structure for God’s blessings and promises in your life, it unlocks deep dimensions of spiritual truths that literally transform your life! When you apply this everything comes in divine alignment for His plan and promises for you. When you don’t honor it, whether through ignorance or direct disobedience there are consequences, but I’m not here to talk about the consequences.

The principle of FIRSTFRUITS is all about honoring God by putting Him first IN EVERYTHING. The reason is God lays claim to all firsts. Devoted things and First things have the exact same meaning; they are the irrevocable giving over to the Lord. They are the things that belong to God and God alone. Again, honoring God with the principle of FIRST FRUITS will open up something powerful I have seen in my own life and the lives of those around me.

While it is not a principle by compulsion, paying of firstfruit offerings is an act that yields rewards. The firstfruits offering although was not directly applied to Christian giving in the New Testament, however, Paul taught the Corinthian believers to set aside a collection “on the first day of the week” (1 Corinthians 16:2). And, just as the offering of firstfruits was an occasion of thanksgiving, so Christians are to give with gladness.

Finally, firstfruits symbolizes God’s harvest. It illustrates giving to God from a grateful heart, and it sets a pattern of giving back to Him the first (and the best) of what He has given us. Again, the Christian is under no obligation than to give cheerfully and liberally (2 Corinthians 9:6-7).
